PREACH IT! It's official: Tiger Woods hates puppies [poll]
The billionaire golfer reportedly has quashed a planned ad campaign by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. PETA was planning to put up a billboard poking clear fun at Woods’ ongoing marital woes while encouraging pet owners to be responsible with their furry charges.
“Too much sex can be a bad thing for little tigers too,” says the proposed billboard, which also includes a large image of Woods. “Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter!”
Woods’ lawyers apparently were not amused. The animal-rights group told TMZ, “In light of conversations we have had with Mr. Woods' attorneys, plans to run our billboard are on hold at this time."
What do you think? Did the proposed billboard go too far, or would Woods have done better to play along and show the world a lighter side of himself?

Why the heck should TW allow himself to be used in this campaign. This is NOT a joke who these people think they are. Good for him to have this campaign squashed!

I love animals, but I cannot stand PETA for their constant use of vulgarity in ALL of their advertisements. It's terribly sick and disgusting. A very bad attempt of trying to draw attention to themselves. I agree with Tiger. PETA needs to back off of him and find another way to grab the public's attention. PETA isn't just messing with Tiger's life..he has a wife and children that are caught in the middle of all of this already. Show some respect to them at least.

HOW CAN PETA EXPECT HUMANS TO GRASP THE CONCEPT OF ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS WHEN PETA FAILS TO TREAT HUMAN BEINGS ETHICALLY?

If People really cared about the Ethical Treatment of Animals, PETA wouldn't have to resort to these tactics to gain attention. Money that could have been spent on helping animals is now going to their attorneys. I take that back. Their attorneys are probably sharks, so I guess they are helping animals.

It is a shame that almost all of these "do good" groups take a good cause over the edge. Don't they realize when they cross the line they destroy their own legitimacy? Smearing someone else is not the way to garner warm fuzzy feelings for your cause.

I hate PETA. They are one sick and twisted group. Sex, sex, and more sex...that's all it seems they are about. The ads are stupid and always sexual. A poor example for children. It's sad that children view the ads but unfortunately PETA puts them everywhere. Complete smut. Wish they'd just go away and deal with animal problems in a more moral way.

What ever the problems in the marriage, these people are parents that the tabloids will NOT let go. Both now must do nothing that could even appear to be note worthy. They need to be more pure "than the driven snow" They need good schools and caregivers for the children, and probably have a chaperone as close as the mates parent with them "seven twenty-four". They need always to be together in public. Elin and her parents may get really tired of golf. The suggestion is punishment enough. They both need to be very private or circumspect. PETA is the worst. I hate PETA. I love all animals, though my weakness is small dogs.
