Shopping L.A.: David’s Bridal offers new Luxe gown collection

David’s Bridal has introduced a new line for brides looking for a lavish gown at a not-so-lavish price.
There are five styles in the David’s Bridal Luxe Collection featuring intricate embellishment such as crystals, beads, sequins and trains. The gowns are priced $1,199 to $1,399. Currently they are available in only 30 stores, including Montclair and Long Beach locally. The Montclair store is at Montclair East Commercial Center, 5399 Moreno St., (909) 621-2000. The Long Beach store is in Long Beach Towne Center, 7621 Carson St., (562) 377-5755.

OPENINGS
Joie, the women’s contemporary brand, is scheduled to open its first West Coast store on Friday at Fashion Island, 591 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. The store will be open during regular mall hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
