Shia LaBeouf punched in the face in a bar fight
Shia LaBeouf had a rough last call Friday night -- the "Transformers" actor was involved in a heated bar fight that ended with punches and a police presence.
At Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks, where LaBeouf is a regular, the actor took one to the kisser after a verbal altercation with a male patron, according to several reports.
The guy wanted a picture of Shia with his girlfriend, says RadarOnline, but was denied. As LaBeouf was leaving, the man allegedly hurled a gay slur, which led to the confrontation. A punch reportedly split LaBeouf's lip.
The bar bouncer intervened, and a squad car passing by quickly pulled up and detained LaBeouf, placing his hands over his head -- contrary to reports that he was handcuffed -- and questioning him, according to an eyewitness. Radar also said LaBeouf's truck was parked at the venue, but police wouldn't let him drive it, instead directing him away from the bar on foot.
People close to the actor told TMZ a different version of events Saturday: that LaBeouf was jumped outside the establishment as he was leaving.

I think Shia should have turned around and punched that guy in his face, but he was a good sport to walk away after being punched, kudos to Shia!!!

Wow, watched Money Never Sleeps last night. Hope he is ok. Physically he is not very imposing. Seriously, socal is fine for him. If he lived here in Worcester, MA or certain parts of Boston he would be getting tested daily. Martial arts?

I have met Shia LeBeouf. He is a great guy and a "human being" (we forget that sometimes). The problem is being an actor you can't have it both ways, make millions and not be in the public eye.
The guy who provoked him should be ashamed of himself, what a scumbag. I hate people who piss on your leg and then the person pissed on gets busted.
