Vivica A. Fox engaged to club promoter Omar 'Slimm' White
Vivica A. Fox got engaged to Omar "Slimm" White over the holidays, saying yes to his Dec. 26 proposal while the two vacationed in Miami's South Beach.
"Hey Tweeps! Just wanna send a special Thank U 2 all of the warm wishes n congratulation messages I got 2day!," Fox said Tuesday on Twitter. "Slimm n I r very happy! :-)"
The engagement, first reported by Page Six, comes a little more than a year after the actress started dating the Atlanta club promoter.
Did her stint hosting the reality show "The Cougar" in 2009 give her any ideas? He's 27, she's 46, and the ring is an 8-carat diamond. Live and learn -- didn't Will Smith give her a dolphin ring in "Independence Day"? Nice step up.
This will be a second marriage for Fox, who has worked steadily in the business for more than two decades, with gigs including "Kill Bill Vol. 1" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
"My career has been my baby for such a long time and I've done well by that," Fox said on "The Wendy Williams Show" in December, discussing possible plans for a baby with White in the new year. "I waited for God to send me a good man, and he's a good Southern man."

vivica is strange and slim is just a young boy in need for an extra dollar she is entirely toooo old that is kind of disgusting, if u ask me..............

hi aunt Vivi!!!! i think its a good thing to fall in love but that age difference way too high for a woman. maybe a man. i just feel u are in love with like your son.....u know guys of such age brackets, they are young, ambitious, and not mature in many ways, i just wish it was an older guy say at least 35 or 40. any how if u think u r happy i wish u luck!!!
