Are Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee the next Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? This fresh crop of vampires and their friends took to the red carpet for the premiere of "Let Me In" on Monday in Westwood, with an after-party at the Napa Valley Grill.

Let-me-in-gallery-refer Moretz plays vampire Abby, and Smit-McPhee portrays the bullied young boy who befriends her in the remake of the 2008 Swedish film, which itself was an adaptation of the 2004 novel "Let the Right One In" by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

But it's more than just a vampire movie, director Matt Reeves told The Times recently. "The great thing about any genre movie is that you take something ridiculous like vampires but then you smuggle in all these things that are very real." (Think youthful sexuality, teenage bullying and Reagan-era alienation.)

Also spotted on the red carpet: Cast members Elias Koteas, Richard Jenkins, Cara Buono, Sasha Barrese, Jimmy Pinchak, Chris Browning, Dylan Minnette, Dylan Kenin and Nicolai Dorian. (Click the picture of Kodi and Chloe at right to launch a photo gallery from the premiere.)
