Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston are engaged again
Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are engaged again as of two weeks ago, having come back together while working out a custody plan for their 18-month-old son, Tripp, Us Magazine reports exclusively.
The kicker: The two told Us magazine before telling Bristol's parents. Todd and Sarah Palin responded with a statement read on the "Today" show Wednesday:
Levi apologized to Sarah and Todd Palin on July 6 for "not completely true" statements he made in the wake of his and Bristol's breakup. People magazine had that exclusive.Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what's best for our children. Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives.
Bristol described her response to a day three months ago that made a difference for her and Levi -- a day that Levi says featured talking and then a walk: "When he left that night, we didn’t ...
The two called off their engagement shortly after Tripp was born in December 2008, when the spotlight of the presidential election, and the McCain-Palin ticket, had faded.
What a difference a walk makes.

I think that this is good news for a family that has had such a lot of dirt from the media. I'm sure that people wish them all the best in taking on family life. Probably Sarah won't be president of the USA but she has given it her best shot. One hopes that the next President is more family friendly even if it's not Mrs Palin.

Can't stand Sarah. Levi is a pompous joke; however, I wish Bristol and her baby all the happiness in the world.

Relationships are at times a struggle, as we all know. Being so young, and parents too boot, makes a road for a difficult job even harder. Good luck to them both.

Let's hope that this works, and Levi isn't just trying to jump on Sarah's gravy train since his other gigs probably haven't work out.

Why is it that every time I read anything regarding Sarah Palin, I feel like I'm watching a real-life combination of King of the Hill and South Park.

They'll be divorced in 5 years or less, and no one will pay the price for it worse than the children. And people on here are offering their congratulations... UNREAL.

love those Christian Family values the Palins show. The World knew of the engagement before Sarah and Todd. Bristol looks like she's having another baby and has been seeing Levi for a while now. The new lesson for teens instructed by the Palin Family have sex as a teenager, go on TV to talk about how not to have sex as a teenager but get paid, then snick back with the father of your baby behind your mothers back and have another baby but this time get engaged to the guy. 9 months will tell if these two kids were at it again. The joke is Bristol says they wont have sex until their married it's like eating the birthday cake before your birthday and saying after you ate it oh I wont eat the birthday cake. When Bristol took her money and got her own apartment Sarah should have realized what was going on. Bristol lost her baby fat and now looks like she got it back.
