Oprah Winfrey said in 2008 that she wouldn’t invite Sarah Palin to appear on her show until after the presidential election. So, today, more than a year after the vote, it’s finally time.

Oprah. Sarah. Questions. Cameras. The possibilities are endless.

Part of Palin’s tour to promote her book ‘Going Rogue,’ the interview with Oprah airs in advance of Barbara Walters’ five-part chat with the former vice presidential candidate. Walters’ interview starts Tuesday and will air over several ABC News shows.

The tidbits that were released last week ...

... after Winfrey taped her interview seemed to indicate the two were pleased with the results of their meeting.

But not all of Oprah’s fans are loving this turn of events. Nor are all of Sarah’s. Some people speculate that Palin will indeed be a threat in 2012 -- to Winfrey. And others are just glad to be able to round up the dishiest Palin stories in hopes that some will be discussed.

For those who are certain that they saw the interview already -- that was actually Tina Fey talking to Oprah about impersonating Palin.

We understand. It’s super-duper confusing.
