Yee haw! The Pioneer Woman gets her own TV show
From the computer screen to the big screen to the TV screen: Ree Drummond, a.k.a. The Pioneer Woman, gets her very own show on Food Network, slated to begin in August.
From the press release: "Award-winning blogger and bestselling author Ree Drummond shares her special brand of home cooking, from throw-together suppers to elegant celebrations. This sassy former city girl, her hunky rancher husband and their band of adorable kids invite viewers into their life at home on the range -– the next best thing to actually sitting on a stool in Ree’s kitchen."
The USC student-turned-cowgirl-turned-Internet and publishing sensation is also the subject of a big screen adaptation of her life on the range, with Reese Witherspoon set to play her.

Honestly.... Some people can be so snarky. Ree is just as entertaining as Paula Deen and Rachael Ray, so why shouldn't she have her own show? You can't have too much of a good thing IMHO.

Don't be so skeptical! Ree Drummond has been entertaining scores of followers on her website for several years. She is warm, caring, audacious, self-deprecating and hilariously funny. We love her and we think you will love her, too, if you just give her a chance. I have learned a lot from her... from the best deerskin gloves for ranch work to the best cinnamon rolls to photoshopping pictures... she takes us with her on her daily routine and on her special occassions. I've seen lovely hotel rooms and Disneyworld. I've been in the middle of a paintball fight and rode along with her kids herding cattle. She is just so cool... I love this girl and so will you!!!

You do realize that Reese Witherspoon has not agreed to do any movie based on R. Drummond's book, right? Because you are a reporter that is submitting an article for the LA Times. In fact, Ms. Witherspoon's representatives have not even admitted to being asked about it.
So, you would be spreading a rumor, right? isn't that what misinformation is? Either you are a journalist with journalistic integrity or you are.., fill in the blank.
Misinformation, Ms. Lynch, is how wars are started.

How can someone seriously cook wearing sleeves like that? I don't think she's a real cook.
