Twelve Days of Christmas Flash Mobs: Down Under edition
What would you rather do on a Saturday: spend an hour looking for a parking spot at the mall or head to the beach?
For countries in the Southern Hemisphere, such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Christmas is in the middle of summer. This means no snowmen, no jingle bells and no chestnuts roasting on any fire -- open or otherwise.
It does, however, mean that after Santa's bounty is unwrapped, most families spend the day at the ocean.
If a chubby guy getting his groove on in a red banana hammock doesn't scream Merry Christmas, frankly, we are at a loss as to what would.
So the next in our series of flash mobs comes from Bondi Beach, south of Sydney.
