This holiday season, Culture Monster is counting down to Christmas via flash mob. Each morning through Christmas Eve we’ll share a new video of large groups of people singing and/or busting a choreographed move in a public place.

Think of it as our 12-page video Christmas card.

First up is this year’s Internet sensation Chorus Niagara from Ontario, Canada. One day in November, members of the choir turned up at a local mall food court and hallelujah’ed the pants off the lunching shoppers.

The video has been watched nearly 17 million times and counting, a figure roughly equivalent to half the population of Canada.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for another Culture Monster Christmas Flash Mob.
