Grammys 2012: Adele in Armani
Adele, who aside from being nominated for several Grammy awards this evening will also be performing for the first time since her throat surgery, arrived at the Staples Center dressed in a custom Giorgio Armani gown with black sequins, mesh overlay and three-quarter-length sleeves.
The look is less '60s and voluminous than the Barbara Tfank and Oscar de La Renta dresses that have defined her style in the past. Her hair has also been hacked to shoulder length and is loose, a step away from the bouffant ponytail.
The singer's new, more natural looking hair is also showcased (albeit with plenty of volume and movement) on her recently released first cover for U.S. Vogue.
