Swatch is marking the Jan. 23, 2012, arrival of the Lunar New Year with a timepiece inspired by the Year of the Dragon.

The band of the blue-and-white watch depicts a smoke-breathing dragon and wave design with a geometric grid gracing the watch face. It is available now at the Swiss brand’s stores and website for $65.

The new year also finds the brand adding three new California stores, with recently opened doors in San Francisco, San Diego and at the Topanga Mall in Canoga Park.
