Opinion: Official holiday schedule update for Vice President Joe Biden

Sorry to be a little late with this, but we got tied up with that brief North Korea global security threat thingy and then the president’s golf game in the rain. And his packing for the Las Vegas fund-raising excursion junket tomorrow. And, who knows, maybe even the Supreme Court nomination before leaving.

Anyway, sorry to keep you. We’re here now to report on Vice President Joe Biden’s official Memorial Day:

‘The Vice President will be in Wilmington, DE. He will have private meetings throughout the day.’

He’s probably in the middle of another private meeting at this very moment.

Biden’s off to Colorado Tuesday and Wednesday, when he’ll speak at the Air Force Academy commencement exercises, perhaps sharing memories of his two generations spent in the U.S. Senate while Barack Obama was busy growing up.

But for today he’s in private meetings all the time all day. So don’t even think about dropping by.
