Opinion: Hump-day daily schedule for Vice President Joe Biden

Sorry we’re a little late with this.

But here’s the Wednesday schedule for Vice President Joe Biden, so you can keep up with his doings and match your silly day with his.

You’ll notice that pretty much everything the vice president is scheduled to do is closed to the press. So you won’t see him or hear much about him on TV again. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t meeting and receptioning hard on the nation’s behalf. Thank goodness The Ticket provides this regular public service so everyone can keep track:

The vice president is in Washington. He will attend the president’s daily briefing and the economic daily briefing in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Afterwards he will host his regular Economic Recovery Implementation Cabinet Meeting.

In the afternoon, vice president will join the president for a meeting with the congressional leadership of both parties. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the vice president and Dr. Jill Biden will attend a reception for congressional members in the Blue Room. This event is closed press.
