Obama's spending under the guise of recovery: A retrospective view
No, it's true. You never know exactly what you're going to find here.
And, frankly, we don't either. That's part of the great fun of blogging and reading them. Anyway, this week we start off with a cartoon sent by a loyal Ticket reader.
It happens to be from the Chicago Tribune, which was not our parent company at the publication of this cartoon complaint about a new Democratic president in difficult economic times overspending the nation's resources -- in 1934.
Our loyal reader's comment, "So what's changed?"
And we'd have to reply, "Not much. And everything."
It made us think a bit about the 75 years since this was drawn. Gee, has it been that long?
Does it make you think of anything in current times?
