Obama's Washington week: Where's the Gordon Brown snub?
It was a much bigger deal in the excitable British press, where they used words such as "aghast" and "appalling." But even the former Yankee rebels on this side of the Atlantic took note of the alleged snubs last week of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown by the rookie Obama White House team, which is far more interested in domestic affairs.
But here's the Associated Press version of that event and others last week in Washington via photograph. And there's little evidence in this video collection of pictures of a snub except, of course, the absence of the usual formal White House joint news conference with separate but equal podiums.
