This Ticket item is probably for those folks who did not watch the presidential debate the other night from Nashville, the first-ever TV show from that city lacking one single note of music.

As we noted afterward, John McCain and Barack Obama went at each other and each other’s positions like legislators arguing over clause A 1b (c) in a bill on the floor. Really exciting stuff.

Can’t wait for C-SPAN’s yawn-to-yawn coverage of the new administration’s staff meetings come January.

But if you’re among the 240 million-odd Americans who didn’t see the debate, you’ll probably want to know more about their lives. And Geoff Boucher, our buddy blogger over at Hero Complex, has just the thing for you.

He’s got detailed reviews of the new nonfiction comic books just out that portray the lives of the two major party’s presidential nominees. And he likes them -- a lot.

Especially for the teen audience getting introduced, pre-voting age, to those who would lead this country once they accumulate more than $400 million to buy the TV advertising to sell us all on them. Or enough of us.

Anyway, we’ve been looking for an excuse to publish the cover drawings. So here they are. And here’s where you can find Geoff.
