The headline, with its nod to poet T.S. Eliot, is what first attracted us to the lead piece in the Washington Post’s Style section today: ‘The Love Song of Dennis J. Kucinich.’

And the story itself lives up to the teaser’s promise. It heartened us that even in politics, kindred spirits sometimes find each other.

The article also makes clear why Kucinich seems less edgy and angry waging his current hasn’t-got-a-prayer presidential campaign, compared to his similar against-all-odds crusade four years ago.
