Football: Deron Braswell is new coach at Taft

Deron Braswell, the offensive coordinator at Taft last season, has been promoted to head coach. He replaces Chris Rizzo, who resigned.

Braswell, 35, was a former assistant coach at Harvard-Westlake. He also worked briefly under former Taft Coach Matt Kerstetter.
