National signing day: Linebacker Keishawn Bierria picks Washington [Update]

Standout All-City linebacker Keishawn Bierria of Harbor City Narbonne said he has signed with Washington, joining his former teammate, quarterback Troy Williams, who enrolled early at Washington.

Bierria is a big-time athlete who can run the field.

Narbonne, the City Section champion, had five players sign on Wednesday, including defensive lineman Paulo Lepua (Washington State), receiver Greg Clark (New Mexico State), lineman Alanta Toussant (San Diego State) and lineman Victor Valentine (Evangel). Quarterback Troy Williams is already enrolled at Washington.

Receiver A.J. Richardson will grey shirt at Boise State and report in January because of a knee injury.
