With the announcement that Tyler Lamb is leaving UCLA, it means that all five former starters from the Santa Ana Mater Dei 2009-10 Southern Section 1AA championship game will have switched colleges.

This isn’t a new occurrence with ex-Mater Dei players.

The players who have transferred off that 2009-10 team include Keala King (Arizona State to Long Beach State); Tommy Stangl (Loyola of New Orleans to Concordia); Max Hooper (Harvard to St. John’s), and Gary Franklin (California to Baylor).

Lamb, Hooper and King arrived at Mater Dei as transfers.
