Baseball: U18 40-man USA Trials team is announced

Forty players were selected Sunday to compete for a spot on the U18 USA national team. They will be training in Cary, N.C.

Among the players selected are catcher Jeremy Martinez from Santa Ana Mater Dei, pitcher Ryan Olson from Upland Western Christian, infielder Timmy Richards from Long Beach Wilson, pitcher Christopher Rivera from Placentia El Dorado and infielder Seve Romo from El Dorado.
