Track & Field: Carson’s Toler wins 400 at Mt. SAC

Elisha Toler of Carson has won the boys Invitational 400 meters in 48.89 seconds at the Mt. SAC Relays. Miles Parish of Eitwanda was second in 48.91 and Garrett Robinson of Studio City Harvard-Westlake was third in 49.11. The seeded race was won by Kris Durr of South Hill (WA) Emerald Ridge in 49.40.

Ellisa Bryant of Piedmont Hills won the girls Invitational 400-meter dash in 55.27. Gardena Serra’s Renetia James was second in 55.57 and Nia Dorner of Sacramento Rosemont finished third in 56.08. The seeded division 400 was won by Danni Alakija of Westlake Village Oaks Christian in 55.80 and Lions teammate Sarah Johnson was third in 56.91. Gardena Serra’s Kayah Agudo was second in 56.76.

Long Beach Poly leads the girls overall team competition with 42 points. Harvard-Westlake is second with 32. Sherman Oaks Notre Dame tops the boys standings with 34 points.
