There was a testy exchange between Narbonne assistant coaches and San Pedro fans late in the second quarter after the Gauchos scored to pull within 14-13.

A Narbonne coach told fans sitting below his window in the press box that it was going to be a long night after Gauchos quarterback Troy Williams completed his second touchdown pass. Fans started yelling at the coaches and one splashed water on the press-box window before a coach nearly slammed the window shut on a fan’s arm.

Los Angeles Unified School Police were called to the press box and escorted the coaches down for halftime. The coaches said they were threatened by fans.
