Football: Top players named at B2G gathering

B2G Sports held a media day and football competition Sunday at UCLA ending its weekend of camp activity and selected several standouts.
Receiver Gabriel Marks from Venice was named outstanding offensive skill player and game MVP. Defensive back Devian Shelton from Inglewood received the same award on defense.
Carl Hulick from Anaheim Esperanza won the outstanding offensive lineman award and Drew James from Corona won the outstanding defensive lineman award.
