Football: Chaminade’s blue turf is taking shape

The blue carpet is out, and West Hills Chaminade will soon have the only blue-turf football field in the Los Angeles area.

I stopped by the campus Wednesday to see the construction progress on Chaminade’s all-weather field. It’s supposed to be completed by next week.

It certainly catches your attention and will take some time to get used to.
