Corona Santiago and Orange Lutheran played a doubleheader on Saturday, and in what could be a preview of the season ahead, the pitchers were in control.

Santiago won the first game, 3-2, and Lutheran took the second game, 3-0, with Art Vidrio allowing two hits in six innings.

Both schools are ranked in The Times’ preseason Top 25.
