Baseball: Morningside seeks donations

Inglewood Morningside baseball Coach Brian Reed has sent out a plea seeking donations to help pay for new baseball bats required for his players.

‘We don’t have any money in our baseball budget to pay for new ones,’ he wrote in an e-mail.

I’m sure Morningside isn’t alone. Paying for the new BBCOR bats will be a challenge for lots of schools and players.
