Boys’ basketball: Loyola advances to Ocean View final

Los Angeles Loyola received 20 points from Joe Stein and knocked off Corona del Mar, 63-40, to earn a spot in Saturday’s championship game of the Ocean View tournament.
The Cubs will meet unbeaten Santa Ana Foothill, which defeated Encino Crespi, 40-38.
In the Santa Monica tournament, Corona Centennial and San Diego Lincoln will play in the 8:15 championship game on Saturday. Centennial defeated Compton, 81-74. Michael Caffey scored 26 points for Centennial. Anthony January had 32 points for Compton. Lincoln defeated Sacramento Sheldon, 70-60.
West Hills Chaminade took third place in the Moorpark tournament with a 68-64 win over Hart. Jaron Martin had 27 points.
Woodland Hills El Camino Real will play Fremont in the championship game of the Beverly Hills tournament. El Camino Real defeated Beverly Hills, 53-48, with Temjae Singleton scoring 16 points.
