Boys’ basketball: It’s a Compton-Harvard-Westlake semi

Compton and North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake will be playing in Friday’s semifinals of the Redondo tournament. Compton defeated Lakewood Mayfair, 79-55. Harvard-Westlake knocked off Palisades, 67-62, with Josh Hearlihy scoring 18 points. Game time will be 8:20 p.m.

Fairfax will try to earn a spot in the semifinals against Long Beach Poly if it can beat Bakersfield on Thursday night.
