Football: TV for Roosevelt-Garfield game

August 10, 2010 |  9:13 am

LA36 will televise the high school football showdown game on Nov. 5 between Eastern League rivals Roosevelt and Garfield at East Los Angeles Stadium.

LA36 is also planning to televise the season opener on Sept. 1 between Los Angeles Dorsey and North Hollywood. The station will also televise the City Section Division I championship game.

The Southern Section has yet to announce the television schedule for Prime Ticket, but certain to be on the schedule is the Oct. 1 game between Westlake Village Westlake and Westlake Village Oaks Christian.

And look for Long Beach Poly-Mission Viejo and Long Beach Poly-Lakewood to be televised if an agreement can be worked out with officials at Long Beach Veterans Stadium.
