BAKERSFIELD--You have to give it to Bishop Amat’s fans.

The Lancers went in for a layup toward the end of the third quarter, and their blue-clad fans rose to cheer wildly. With Bishop Amat still trailing Stockton St. Mary’s by 40 points.

The Rams lead, 78-35, heading into the fourth quarter. I’m surprised St. Mary’s fans haven’t started chanting ‘Scoreboard!’ each time they hear so much as a clap from their Bishop Amat counterparts.
