Boys’ basketball: Thousand Oaks gaining confidence

Thousand Oaks is showing that the confidence earned last season in winning a Southern Section championship is still with the Lancers.

After falling behind, 16-3, to unbeaten Richmond Salesian, the Lancers took the lead for the first time with 2:22 left in the third quarter on a basket by Austin Solomon.

The third quarter is over in the quarterfinal game of the Oaks Christian tournament, and Thousand Oaks leads, 41-40. Salesian is the defending state Division IV champion.
