Boys’ basketball: McBroom makes five three-pointers

LAS VEGAS _ Austin McBroom, a junior point guard from North Hollywood Campbell Hall, made five three-pointers and finished with 18 points, but Team Odom was routed by Playaz (N.J.), 78-61, Wednesday in a GBOA Challenge of Champions game at Henderson International School.

McBroom is only 5-11, which could cause some schools concern, but he said Arizona, Marquette and Florida have been expresssing interest.
