One victory sure means a lot. Just ask the Riverside King boys’ basketball team. King’s 71-56 victory over Santa Ana Mater Dei last Saturday has enabled the Wolves to go from unranked to No. 5 in the USA Today national basketball rankings, one spot ahead of Mater Dei, which had been ranked No. 1 in the nation.

King (28-2) plays host to Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro tonight in a quarterfinal game of the Division I Southern California Regional playoffs.
