Trevor Brown, who batted .343 as a junior center fielder for Newhall Hart last season, has committed to UCLA. He’s expected to play catcher this season for the Indians and is known for his strong arm and ability to play multiple positions.

‘He’s very talented,’ Hart Coach Jim Ozella said.

He’s the second Hart player in the past year to choose the Bruins. Pitcher Trevor Bauer is graduating in December and joining the Bruins in the spring.
