UCLA is one of the few schools that highly regarded prospect Xavier Henry is still interested in. But there is a problem: Powerhouse programs such as Kansas, Memphis and Texas are also in the running to land a commitment from the senior from Oklahoma City Putnam City.

It appears the Jayhawks and Tigers are the front-runners. The Longhorns and Bruins are close behind. Worth noting is that the 6-foot-6 shooting guard plans to visit Westwood at some point in the near future, according to these quotes. It will be interesting to see whether Ben Howland can lure him west.

Adding a player the caliber of Henry to a 2009 recruiting class that already includes Reeves Nelson and Brendan Lane would be huge for UCLA.
