About three weeks ago, this blog surfaced around these parts, shedding some light on how the whole recruiting process was going for Keith Price. At the time, Washington had just stepped up its efforts to land the senior from St. John Bosco by offering him a scholarship after his visit.

Apparently, Price was impressed with Coach Tyrone Willingham, his staff and Seattle. So impressed, in fact, the 6-foot-2 quarterback felt it necessary to make an all-important decision about his future late Wednesday and give the Huskies an oral commitment. Click here for some quotes.

The news of Price’s pledge figures to go over well with Braves fans back in Bellflower. I mean, take a look at this thread posted by the St. John Bosco faithful back in early July. They love this guy. I’m imagining the Washington backers will end up loving Price too, provided he earns his scholarship.
