Boys’ basketball: Powdrill says he’s transfering to Crescenta Valley

According to Jack Pollon of the Daily News, St. Francis standout Coltrane Powdrill is planning to transfer to Crescenta Valley in the fall.

Powdrill was one of the region’s top sophomores last winter, averaging 14 points. It’ll be interesting to see if he can help the Falcons pose a legitimate threat to perennial Pacific League champion Pasadena next season.
