Football: High Desert all-star game set for Saturday night

Practice is well under way for the inaugural High Desert All-Star Football Game, which is scheduled for Saturday at Apple Valley High.

Among the players on the South team is Hesperia free safety Dominic Reyes, who last week signed with SUNY-Stony Brook, becoming the first football player from the school to land a Division I football scholarship straight out of Hesperia.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Walk-up tickets are $8 for children and students, $10 for adults.
