Arcadia’s Golper decides to stay close to home

Chalk one up for the UCLA football program. It appears as if Todd Golper was so impressed with what Westwood had to offer that the junior from Arcadia verbally committed to the Bruins recently, despite drawing interest from other programs in the Pac-10, as well as schools from the ACC and Big 12.

Golper had scholarship offers on the table from Arizona and Stanford. Recruiters from Colorado and Georgia Tech routinely checked in with him as well.
