I never though I’d write this, but ... wild times in Barstow.

The Aztecs knocked off Victor Valley, 55-54, on a last-second tip-in Thursday night in a Desert Sky League finale, causing the fans to storm the floor in celebration.

I don’t think there’s been this much excitement in Barstow since McDonald’s starting selling Angus burgers.

With the win, Barstow clinched sole possession of third place and an automatic playoff berth. With the loss, Victor Valley missed out on a chance to share the league title with Granite Hills.

The drive-thru must have been packed last night.
