El Segundo has won big this season.

In their three wins, the Eagles (3-1) have averaged a 20-point margin of victory; however, that hasn’t come against the most formidable of foes. Tonight at 6 p.m. in the El Segundo tournament, however, is a true test against the Mira Costa Mustangs (3-1), who are expected by many South Bay prognosticators to compete for the Bay League title.

If the Eagles beat the Mustangs -- even if it’s not by a huge margin -- take them seriously. Very seriously.
