Largest crowd of season expected at Angel Stadium

Tonight’s Santa Ana Mater Dei-Anaheim Servite Trinity League title decider at Angel Stadium is expected to bring out the largest football crowd of the season. A Mater Dei official said 24,000 tickets had been sold prior to turning over tickets to stadium officials.
The largest crowd to date was the more than 17,000 fans who turned out for the Garfield-Roosevelt game last week at East Los Angeles College.
