We’re big fans of YouTube user bluefan‘s tribe of energetic West Highland white terriers, shown here forming a posse of sorts to hunt down vermin a ball. You can take the terrier away from his rodent-hunting past, we suppose, but you can’t quite take the hunter out of the terrier. (At least, that’s what we’ve been led to believe by our own two terrier mutts, who, despite being strictly indoor creatures with no real need for a prey drive, still view the sight of a squirrel as a personal affront.)

‘Said to be ‘all terrier,’ this breed possesses a large amount of spunk, determination and devotion stuffed into a compact little body,’ reads one section of the Westie’s American Kennel Club breed standard. Sounds about right to us! We salute these dedicated chasers and wish them the best of luck in all their future ball-corralling endeavors.
