Elmer the bird satisfies his snack craving

How much do we love submitter danwalter’s photo of little Elmer the rosy-faced lovebird going after an illicit snack? So much that we felt compelled to share it with you, despite a certain reluctance on our part to mention the species names of birds here on Unleashed after a vigorous ducks-vs.-geese debate developed over the weekend.

We are still reeling from the sheer intensity of the aforementioned debate, but just one look at Elmer’s delighted expression makes us forget the past and remember the enjoyment birds bring us -- be they ducks, geese or rosy-faced lovebirds (also known as peach-faced lovebirds).
