Tonight, your chance to sing AND help pets

If there’s one thing we love more than dogs, it’s singing poorly in public. That’s why we’re excited about tonight’s Karaoke For Kanines event, hosted by The Paw’d Squad Animal Rescue as a fundraiser for the rescue pups in their care.

Karaoke For Kanines begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Backstage Bar & Grill in Culver City, 10400 Culver Blvd. Cover charge is $10 and includes a raffle ticket (a trip to Puerto Vallarta is up for grabs). Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume and Best Karaoke -- no word if the worst performance will be honored as well.

The best part is, the proceeds benefit dogs like Digsby, right, a sweet and playful male terrier mix who’s about a year old and available for adoption.
