Martha Stewart bids Paw Paw farewell

We foolishly thought we could avoid the topic, but, alas, it is not to be. So today we join the millions who are mourning Paw Paw, Martha Stewart’s Chow.
The 60-pound dog, whose full name was Kublai Kahn Paw Paw Chow Chow Chow, was, according to the Associated Press, almost 13.
“Paw Paw was a spectacular chow and an even more spectacular dog,” Stewart wrote in a blog post about his Saturday death. “He was always my loyal companion, displaying the most agreeable temperament.”
Martha has been blogging about Paw Paw and the news has been popping up everywhere, from foxnews.com to the Huffington Post.
The dog’s death unleashed condolences but some snarky comments as well. If you must read them, here goes.
