Times staff writer Tina Daunt writes in her Cause Célebre column today that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent Beyoncé Knowles a most fashionable olive branch after last year launching ‘an all-out offensive’ against the singer/actress for her fiercely frequent fur-wearing.

According to a posting on the group’s website, Senior Vice President Lisa Langesent Knowles and her new husband, rapper mogul Jay-Z, a faux-fur throw as a wedding gift to confirm the détente.
