Apple’s next iPhone, the iPhone 4S (no, it won’t be called iPhone 5) is hitting stores on Oct. 14 and preorders will begin on Oct. 7.

The price? Just like the looks of the iPhone 4S, the price will match the iPhone 4. An iPhone 4S with 16-gigabytes of storage will sell for $199 and a 32-gigabyte model will cost $299.

Live coverage: Apple iPhone 4S

Apple said the iPhone 4S will be available in 70 Countries by December with 100 carrier partners.

We’ve got no word of Sprint be added among the U.S. carriers as of yet. However, Sprint is set to host an event of its own on Friday regarding its future plans for its network, so maybe we’ll hear word of a rumored Sprint iPhone then? We’ll find out soon enough.
